Operation Christmas Child
Bethany Bible Church is an Official Operation Christmas Child Drop-off Location
Shoebox donations will be accepted between November 13 and 20, 2023. Our volunteer team will be at our front entrance to collect boxes and answer questions daily from 9 to 6pm.
Demonstrating God's Love
Operation Christmas Child is a global effort “to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world”. Every November, shoeboxes with packed goods and supplies are sent to kids globally.
Bethany Bible Church gladly accepts shoeboxes during National Collection Week: November 13 – 20, 2023
How to Pack a Shoebox
Find a sturdy shoebox to pack or visit Bethany to fill one of our preprinted Operation Christmas Child boxes. Then, get a label to place on your box. Next, fill it with gifts following the guidelines from Samaritan’s Purse.
Pray for your box and the families who will receive it. Optionally, provide a donation of $10 to cover shipping costs. Finally, drop your boxes off at Bethany Bible Church at our front entrance.
Drop-off Instructions
When you’re ready to drop-off your packed boxes, come visit us at Bethany Bible Church. Park near our front door entrance. When you come inside, an attendant will be there to receive your boxes, check that they’re ready for delivery, and answer any questions you may have.
That’s it! Bethany Bible Church will handle the rest. At the end of collection week, we’ll deliver all collected boxes to the regional distribution center.
Volunteer at Bethany
Interested in collecting donations during drop-off week? Our Operation Christmas Child leaders, Cathy Perry and Susan Sell, are always on the search for enthusiastic volunteers.
Volunteer roles are open to anyone 16 years or older. A brief training meeting in early November following our 11AM worship service will prepare you to help serve.
